When yous're trying to pose with your nail shine and you feel hella awkward

OK, makeup conspiracy theory time! 🙂

Here goes: I retrieve there'south something going on with the bottles of Chanel Le Vernis nail polish in the Travel Diary collection, because they look so completely different in the bottles than they await on my nails.

I dunno… The kickoff shade I tried, Horizon Line, and now this 2d ane that I'm wearing right meow, New Dawn, look dull and uninspiring in their bottles, but information technology's a whole unlike story on your paws.

This shade, New Dawn, isn't flashy, merely information technology's surprisingly complex for something that, at first, appears repose. I can't explain information technology. Sometimes information technology looks like a creamy, grayish mauve, just then it surprises me with a pastel violet moment. And sometimes when I glance downwardly at my nails, I swear that it makes my fingers look longer (similar a lot of nude polishes do).

Information technology'southward more complex than I expected based on how it looks in the bottle. You lot really accept to get information technology on your paws, because that's where the magic happens.

Incidentally, Chanel reformulated their unabridged nail polish line a while dorsum and removed formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, formaldehyde resin and camphor to create a v-free formula. They really stepped up their boom game.

I think the new formula is smoother, more than pigmented and dries quicker than the previous formula, and information technology lasts a piffling longer, besides. I get at least five or six days with a base and top coat before I experience similar I need to remove my polish and start over. And I am Fell on my nails. I think it lasts longer than Essie for me but non quite every bit long as OPI. Proficient stuff!
